Brandon James Sydney Martin's Obituary
Brandon-James Sydney Martin, lovingly known as “Stone Roger,” passed away at his residence in Pahoa, Hawai‘i, at the age of 33.
He is survived by his son, Zander Noland of Pahoa, HI; daughter, Irie Martin-Akui; sister, Ashley Fortune of AZ; half-siblings Ryan Martin of CA, Kati Ronk of CA, and Jacob Martin of WA; nine nieces and nephews in AZ and CA; father, Jim Martin of WA; stepmother, Dulce Martin of WA; mother, Kathleen Marie Martin of Hilo, HI; aunts Nancy Bailey of GA, Marina Falzone of FL, Mona Bailey of GA, and Regina Fountaine of AZ; and uncle Allen Martin of MO.
Stone never knew a stranger. From childhood, he was outgoing, adventurous, and mischievous — always curious, always extreme, and often the first to find himself in uncommon situations. He learned early to navigate boundaries, overcome obstacles, and master the art of street survival. Testing limits, whether his own or others’, was where he found solace. He lived life fully, defiant of hierarchy, and embraced freedom at every turn.
His kind soul has been liberated from physical restraint and pain. Stone is loved, missed, and will never be forgotten.
